Las clases de adquisición del idioma inglés ofrecen instrucción para hablantes no nativos de inglés, brindando a los estudiantes las habilidades necesarias para mejorar sus habilidades de lectura, escritura, comprensión auditiva y expresión oral. Los estudiantes pueden inscribirse clases diurnas y se les proporciona acceso a oportunidades de aprendizaje en línea además de instrucción en el salón de clases por parte de un maestro autorizado. Las clases están abiertas a todos los adultos, independientemente del nivel de inglés.

Please note a Policy update from the Department of Workforce Development:
Starting September 10, 2025, a VALID ID will be required for any person who registers for ELL or ABE classes. Any student who has previously registered for the 2025-26 school year will also be required to produce a VALID ID to continue classes. See some examples of a VALID ID here.
GET STARTED!
1. Register online on the registration date (the link will only be active on the date of registration until full).
**We CANNOT adjust or reschedule appointments.
**A confirmation email will be sent after you complete your registration.
**Children are not permitted at orientation or in classes.
2. Come to the orientation you selected
**Orientation will be at Washington Township Services Center (former Northview Middle School). - 8401 Westfield Blvd, Door #4, Indianapolis, IN 46240
**You will need to bring a VALID ID to your orientation. You can see examples of a VALID ID here.
3. At orientation, you will complete language testing and be assigned to a class.
If your preferred class is not available, you will be added to a waitlist and contacted once a spot becomes available.
4. It's ok if you need to change your class choice.
