I have been the Supervisor of Community & Continuing Education in Washington Township since 2008. In the past decade, we have expanded as a program to better serve adults in our community in order to increase their education, English proficiency, or skill level across careers and through personal interest. I look forward to continuing to serve our community and the needs of adult learners.

The main purpose of Washington Township Community and Continuing Education is to provide education, career training, and special interest classes to build the skillset, health, and wellness of the surrounding adult community.
Our goal is to expand the economic interest of all adults by creating and reinforcing a strong academic foundation leading to training and post-secondary opportunities. Classes are structured to fit adult schedules and responsibilities by providing options for different times, days, locations, and distance learning to move more quickly through the curriculums.

MSDWT Mission Statement
The mission of Washington Township Schools is to develop lifelong learners and globally-minded citizens by fostering the academic, creative, and social skills needed to achieve excellence in a multi-cultural environment.
In partnership with the J. Everett Light Career Center, Washington Township Adult Education provides career training classes on-site and at other sites through the city*. Career training opportunities are available in the following industries:

Adults who have already earned their high school equivalency diploma, may be eligible for free career training programs. Please contact Washington Township Adult Education for more information.
*Students may have to meet minimum education requirements in order to participate in career training courses.
