                            Introduction to Welding

                                                                                                      (non-certified)

Instruction will include introduction to GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), SMAW (STICK), FCAW (FLUXCORE), OFC (OXYFUEL CUTTING),  and PAC (PLASMA ARC CUTTING. Students will learn the different positions and joints of welding. Personalized instruction allows flexibility for student interest, needs and objectives.  This class is designed for the students that have little to no experience, to those with experience, welding enthusiasts or those who have always wanted to learn. Students will need to provide split leather hide gloves, 100% cotton clothing, safety glasses, leather shoes, and general protective clothing.  Students will have access to welding jackets and hoods provided by the school. This class does not include certification upon completion.

Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
